48 Series

The 48 series is designed for fast operation in light soils.  They are  stronger, faster, and lighter than their predecessors.  The 48 Series uses a reduction gear box instead of a chain to drive the spade axle for improved strength and reliability. These machines are designed for tractors in the 140-250 hp range, and are capable of working 5 acres per hour. at 4.4 MPH with a working depth of 6-14″.  Available in 10 and 12 ft widths.  The 48 series is especially well adapted for use in growing sod.  The 48 Series is available with an optional bolt on fumigation system on the 48SX300HG, and can be configured without a power harrow.
